Deb D. Donohue

Deb D. Donohue lives in the Rocky Mountains where she enjoys writing, reading, hiking, trail running and snow-shoeing.

She studied creative writing, poetry and philosophy at Mesa and Houston Community Colleges which sparked her interest in writing novels. She has now completed two Mystery Fiction Novels which are now available. She is currently writing her third novel and hopes to be able to write fulltime soon.

Deb earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from University of Houston and studied Interior Design for three years at Design Institute of San Diego. She worked as an outside sales representative in the design and commercial furnishing industry for over twenty years and as an Architect Intern for over ten years. She worked as a commercial driver, delivering food and medical supplies in a downturned economy while writing her first two novels.

Jillian, A Dakota Hunt Novel Book One and Anji, A Dakota Hunt Novel Book Two are mystery fiction suspense stories, however many of the characters and their stories are based on her own experiences and travels throughout the United States, mainland Alaska and Canada.

Writing the Dakota Hunt novels was her way of joining the fight against sex trafficking. She hopes her books will help create more of an awareness that our world continues to struggle with – modern-day slavery, human trafficking.
